What makes Plodding Paws different from other dog walking services?
Your dog will never be walked with more than one other dog, meaning they get my full attention, just as they deserve. Walks are also tailored to suit the needs of their breed instincts and personal interests.
It is also ensured that knowledge around all things doggy related is kept refreshed and up to date by the completion of relevant courses.
What services do you offer?
We offer Individual Dog Walks, Breed-Specific Exercise, Puppy Socialisation Walks and a check in service. We also offer 'Plodding Adventure' were your pooch is taken out for 2 hours to either a specific destination, such as a day at the beach, or to multiple locations completing different activities.
Can I book a walk for my puppy?
Yes, we offer Puppy Socialisation Walks to help your young dog get accustomed to outdoor environments and social interactions. I will ensure your Puppy is walked alone and everything is taken at their individual pace.
What is a check in service?
There may be occasions when all you need is to give your dog a little company, refreshments and a trip in the garden for a number one (or two)! Plodding paws offers this service for dogs and pups. It can be once a day or more if needed.
Do you offer discounts for dogs in the same household?
Yes we do! We can provide specialist pricing for multiple dogs and services. Please get in touch for more details.

How long are the dog walks?
Walks typically last between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the needs and energy levels of your dog.

Safety is our top priority. We use secure leads and harnesses, and all walks are conducted in safe, dog-friendly areas. All equipment is checked thoroughly before each walk.
How do I schedule a walk for my dog?
You can schedule a walk by contacting us through our website, email, or phone. We'll arrange a time that suits you.
Do you walk dogs in bad weather?
Yes, we walk dogs in most weather conditions, but in extreme weather, we will contact you to reschedule or offer an alternative service for the safety of your pet.
Can you accommodate special requests for my dog’s walk?
Yes, we are happy to accommodate special requests to ensure your dog has the best experience possible. Please let us know in advance.
Will I be kept updated on how my dog is doing?
Yes, when the opportunity arises photos and updates will be sent via text. After each visit a 'Pet Report Card' will also be left so you are kept fully in the know about how your dog has been, where they have been and what they have been up to.
